MB Pahang telah memberi green-light untuk potong telinga dia jika DAP menang Bentong. I rasa this is highly risky for him .. looking at current political storm in Malaysia and Pahang ( thanks to Lynas ), there is huge chance for BN to lose the whole state

Sepatutnya, beliau keluar meninggalkan majlis itu tanpa memberikan ucapan sebagai tanda bantahan beliau kepada ucapan dan agenda CSL.

In a way , we should thank CSL for making it easier for Muslim to really understand the core of BN struggle... after this, I would be baffled if there is any more Muslim voting for UMNO

Would you pay RM 1.6 Mil? Caranday at Setia Tropika

The luxury cluster houses' construction near  to our house is progressing well. Below is the latest picture of the house

I saw advertisement for one of those houses , it is currently being priced at RM1.6 Mil. The question is, would you pay that much money for  this house?
Personally I would not. If I were the buyer, spend RM500K to buy another house and put 1 Mil in Tabung Haji  or buy a few acres of land.

google image seach capability

I just found out that google image seach really does image search. You could drag and drop any image from you computer to the search box and the image will be uploaded into the google server and searched against images already available in the database.
What does it means to internet users..
- google will find in its database if the image ( even with diff size ) has even been published in the net before
   - if it find the match, it will publish that
The 2nd part of the search is more interesting
- if google search engine could not find exact match, it will start to do inferring / guessing the image against known image
     - for some image this section works fine, while it does not work for other images. Knowing how google works, most likely the more popular object/image will have higher chances of correct match while not popular image has less chance of matching.

We all know the millions of faces has been tagged in the facebook., If google image search has the access to facebook image tag, then millions of people will be searchable via this method.

I took a drive to Kota Iskandar about 2 weeks ago .. I chance upon this ship at Puteri Harbour. Very Nice... Apart from that .. kota Iskandar looks like a dead city for now. It might take another 5-10 years with significant development to bring the city to life .. well that is my opinion

Photo of the construction from our veranda , it seems it is a 2.5 stories of cluster house, looks very big and imposing. .. before current I think the house will be ready by end of this year..

my neighbor the YB

I just found out that my neighbor is the YB Azahar Ibrahim of Tenang. After a brief search on the net, I remembered that he won the seat in the by-election in 2011. Well we are now very neighborly ... but he is only here for a few days in a month. Due to his position, he needs to be in his constituency most of the time. Good to know that we have famous ppl as our neighbor :)

hazim's new ride

I have finally got the back carrier for Hazim .. now he can join me on my round the block ride .. he he here is the bike with back carrier.. got the back carrier from apek bicycle shop near Maslee taman Dahlia. The complete seat and carrier cost me RM110.

The bike is an exitway asx pro .. got it from Azree ( 018-7784868) early this year.. If you need a bike you can always give him a call and he can recommend a reasonable bike. He will personally deliver the bike if you stay around JB .

well EDL is not entirely useless

After using EDL since the opening.. that is what I have to say about EDL 1- completely useless to cut my travelling time to work - yesterday .. it took me 2;15 min to get to work .. with 1 hour in EDL 2- really useful when coming back from work - Once I manage to clear the CIQ in JB.. I am on the home-run. It toook me 10-12 min to reach home from that point. - still .. I still face the same traffic from Changi to woodlands ..

My pumpkin was admitted on Friday afternoon. My wife got the night shift and I got the day shift.. so for the last 2 days .. I have been spending the day at the hospital. Just now the doc says my pumpin can go home .. whew .. finally. Waiting for the nurse to come with discharge document .... I was browsing for jobs .. EDL is completely useless

Today .. it tool me 3H 15 min to reach office. I started at 6:15am in the morning, thinking I have 2:15 min before my meeting. I took the EDL .. but the jam started >1KM before the end of EDL. So from there .. it was a crawl all the way to Upper Thompson road.
In reality .. EDL is completely useless in shortening my time to go to work

EDL ( EASTERN DISPERSAL LINK )rocks!!

EDL finally opened yesterday .. I was driving out of JB CIQ when I noticed the barrier to EDL was removed. I quickly steer my trusted PV6 to EDL.
It was 6:42pm, normally I would stop for Asar prayer .. but since I am EDL was opened. I decided to continue my journey.
The HW is still new and many people still trying to figure out the exact exit and etc.

I have to say .. EDL is really cool. I reached at my home at Setia Tropika 6:57pm .. exactly 15 min from CIQ.
Normally the trip would take 35-45 mins ... Praying the toll rate to be reasonable !!!

Nasi Biryani Pak Ayob Taman U

Went for Nasi Biryani Pak Ayob @ Taman U today .. nice place with tasteful decor. The menu is still quite limited .. only variety of nasi biryani and mee rebus rebus available.

Ordered 3 Nasi Biryani Chicken ... staff is attentive and polite. Nisi Biryani is tasteful .. unfortunately the chicken portion is quite small. Next time need to order additional chicken :)

Overall : Tasty Nasi Biryani , Price is reasonable , ambiance is nice :)

Out kids @ bukit datu on Dec 11 visit

We probably should go back more often .. may be after this I will make monthly trip back to TGG. Hopefully I will get the strength to do that..

One of those days where you felt severely overworked ... I woke up a bit late today .. thus my commuting to work took much longer than expected. I just have to take a zzZZZ in the car before starting to work..

Setia Tropika : Caranday Mondrian Renovated

Finally we moved into our own house at Setia Tropika this week. We bough the house from previous owner and they have kept the house in excellent condition. We got the key ~1 month before the official transfer for a small token sum. Then we spent the next 1 month trying to do whatever necessary within our budget constrain.
Many thanks to excellent job by our renovation contractor, En Ahmad (0197998873) from Kempas, Johor Bahru .. a humble guy with lots of insight.
Initially we thought we do not have enough budget for the balcony railing , but En Ahmad made it happen .. and we just love it.

the year that was : 2011

2011 was a very interesting years .. We lived in two different countries. Moved houses , Bought new house, New job . Start commuting life.
Tok Ki passed away ... and many more. I probably need to back date a few of future posting.
